Job Description
This position drives the development and execution of the Annual Strategic Marketing Plan and budgets for all brands. This includes New Products, Promotions, Support Items, Communications Program, Key Account Programs, and Corporate Trade Shows. The Senior Director also mentors and leads the entire marketing team including product development and creative staff.
Job Duties:
New Products:
Create excitement for the brands through innovative ideas
Generate launch strategies with export and domestic sales teams to meet
Sales goals:
Work with Product Development on new product concepts, pricing, positioning and timing
Work with Operations and Sales with regards to new product forecasts
Promotions:
Develop promotions that drive existing product sales growth for domestic and export markets and website
Work with Operations and Sales with regards to promotion forecasts
Support Items:
Direct the creation of support materials such as samples, displays, merchandising items, etc. that drive sell-in and sell-through
Communications Program:
Including New Product/Promotion launch pieces:
Web Updates (including e-commerce function)
Advertising
Public Relations
Sales Notifications (Sneak Previews, special letters, etc.)
Key Account Programs that drive sell-in and sell-through for top customers in the Export, Domestic and Spa markets.
Corporate Trade Shows selection, budget, design and staffing. Responsible for export and domestic distributor show marketing and creative support.
Create and monitor department budget
Supervise and mentor marketing department staff
Job Requirements:

Minimum of 8 years experience in the beauty industry in a Marketing and/or Sales capacity.
Strong Marketing and Sales background, industry knowledge a must
Must be proficient in using Microsoft Suite applications and related office software primarily Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
