LG Electronics Inc. of South Korea said it has now sold more than 1 million LG Prada Phones, which have been on the market for 18 months.
The LG Prada Phone boasts a full touch-screen panel, predating the Apple iPhone's use of this feature. It has also drawn users with its refined design and the brand power of Prada SpA, the Italian high-fashion company with which LG developed the handset.
LG debuted the Prada Phone in Europe in 2007, and has since released the handset in South Korea, Japan and other parts of Asia, as well as in Central and South America.
