Brilliance China Automotive Holding Ltd (Brilliance Auto), the first Chinese auto maker listed outside mainland China, unveiled four new models under its homegrown Zhonghua brand, namely Zhonghua Junjie, Zhonghua Zunchi, Zhonghua Coupe and Zhonghua Junjie FRV, at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, as per industry sources.
Featured by the high quality, good workmanship and delicate design, the new models have received broad recognition from the visitors at the Paris Motor Show.
As one of the most important auto fair in the world, the Paris Motor Show provides Brilliance Auto, a partner of BMW, with a great opportunity to enhance its brand recognition worldwide.
The global financial crisis has dragged down people's purchasing power and more consumers are expected to shift their focus to the more economical and energy-saving Asian cars, according to a report by Le Parisien, a major French newspaper.
Brilliance Auto said last month it would set up a new production base in Mianyang, Sichuan province by the end of this year.
