Gumas Embraces Cultural Branding and Reveals a New Look

Gumas of San Francisco, a nationally recognized, full-service, integrated strategic marketing and advertising agency, has re-branded itself, beginning with the unveiling of its revamped website.

"Next year we celebrate a major milestone -- our 25th anniversary," said John Gumas, president and founder. "It's the perfect time to take our own branding to the next level, with a dynamic new style, updated content, and a primary focus on Cultural Branding -- our weapon for campaigns that hit the target every time."

With Cultural Branding, the Gumas strategic team anticipates shifts in culture and uses this analysis to keep client brands relevant and effective. Running the Cultural Branding analysis on its own brand, Gumas revealed a need to focus on simplicity, directness, and to minimize clutter.

In keeping with the new Gumas promise of directness and simplicity, the company has shortened its name -- from Gumas Advertising to Gumas.

"We offer branding, advertising, interactive, public relations, design, and media services. Our new name is more accurate in that it encompasses all of the integrated work we're doing for our clients," John Gumas said.

The new website is easy to use, dynamic, and fresh, with easy navigation and valuable content. A new "Cultural Shifts"section on the home page will be updated regularly to list new insights the Gumas team has uncovered and is putting to work for clients.

With 100 percent of its design and content created in-house, the new Gumas website performs the valuable function of showing prospective clients how the company thinks and works.

The new branding, including a new warm red logo, will soon be extended to the company's other content.
