In an effort to boost its presence in Asia, Electronic Arts is changing its focus.
While EA's claim to fame comes from packaged games for use on gaming consoles and PCs, on-line games are apparently all the rage in Asia.
As a result, EA will focus more attention on the on-line gaming idustry in Asia and has announced plans to release twelve editions of different games for use on-line by the end of the year.
Company executives hope the move will increase EA's market share, as current revenues from Asia account for only 6% of EA's total revenue.
