PhotoVu, a "made in the USA" manufacturer and designer of premium wall-mounted wireless digital picture frames and digital signage displays, announced a strategic relationship with Microsoft Corp. to offer support for Windows Live FrameIt on their custom frames and displays.
Using one consistent interface, customers can now combine photos, news, and information from a variety of sources and not have to worry about the ever changing complexity behind the scenes. All PhotoVu frames shipped over the last five years will be eligible to download this new software upgrade.
"We are pleased to offer our customers this exciting new capability by enabling Windows Live FrameIt integration for their frames and signs," said Robert Jordan, partner, PhotoVu.
"As one of the first digital frame companies to use RSS for photos, we predicted even more compelling uses as the market matured. With FrameIt, Microsoft has delivered and taken this to the next level by integrating not only people's photos but 'images as information'."
"PhotoVu's support for Windows Live FrameIt will provide another great solution for Windows Live customers who want easy access to their photos and information," said Brian Hall, general manager of Windows Live at Microsoft.
"We're thrilled that PhotoVu will provide innovative digital frames to Windows Live FrameIt users."
