The MTV European Music Awards took place earlier this month in Liverpool with all the expected drama and headlines.
The audience at the Liverpool Echo Arena and the millions watching around the world were treated to seamless sound, courtesy of hire company Britannia Row, aided by the team from Sennheiser UK.
Performers and presenters all wore Sennheiser ew 300 IEM G2 in-ear monitors, while a selection of SKM 5200 wireless microphones with Neumann KK 105 heads were used by presenters with artists including Beyoncé, Take That and The Ting Tings used Sennheiser vocal microphones.
2008 marked the sixth year in a row that Sennheiser has worked alongside Britannia Row at the MTV EMAs.
Sennheiser artist relations manager Mark Saunders was there ensuring everything ran smoothly, while chief engineer Andy Lillywhite was on hand to provide swift and accurate answers for the questions that inevitably arise at an event with over 60 channels of radio mics.
