Deadline: 31 December 2008
This competiton is tailored to budding design students who would love to see their design produced as a 3D object and relish the chance to show industry experts their design portfolio.
The idea for Pure Creativity was born when the design team at Mydeco was chatting with Philippe Starck at his Paris office.
Hugely excited about the new possibilities of 3D printing, this competition was created as a unique chance to break the current boundaries of design and creativity. Most importantly the aim is to give young talent the opportunity to explore new ways of thinking and making.
The competition winner will see his/her 3D model made into a prototype using the stereolithographic process with MGX. He/She will also win £1,000 cash and have the opportunity to get an article with Philippe Starck published in IDFX magazine.
