Click 3X Enlists Motion Designer/VFX Compositor JD Yepes
PRESS RELEASE

December 2008

New York-based design and effects studio Click 3X recently expanded their roster, signing talented artist, JD Yepes, a specialist in editing, motion design and VFX compositing.

The hire is the latest in a series of efforts to widen their production capabilities to offer a full suite of visual solutions for commercials, feature films, television, music videos and broadcast clients.

With significant experience and talent across a wide range of software and techniques, as well as with concept development, on-set editing, motion design, compositing, and finishing, JD will immediately contribute to Click's growing team.

Executive Producer/Partner Jason Mayo elaborates, "One of the aims of our company is to constantly add new talent and abilities."

"With his diverse background, both culturally and creatively, and above all, his talent, JD brings additional depth, strength, and potential to our team."

Commenting on his union with the studio, Yepes adds, "As an artist, I love being able to bring thoughts and ideas together like small pieces of a puzzle to create a shot-to bring things to life."

"The team at Click really shares my passion to develop their creative intuitions and push the limits of visual possibility with technically innovative media content."

A native of Venezuela, JD worked in Miami for eight years before coming to New York to join Click.

He has worked freelance and for high-end studios including MGS Communications (Miami), Digipost INC (Miami) and rgfx (Caracas) for brand name clients like Tiffany & Co., AT&T, Visa, NBA, Chevrolet, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Discovery Channel Latin America, and National Geographic Latin America, as well as dozens of other Latin American brands.

JD developed his talents through FXPHD, a high-end VFX educational program.

His most recent work includes projects for Scion, Florida Power & Light Company, and Toyota.
