December 2008
Lenovo Group Limited is to unveil a regrouping plan in mid January 2009.
The PC maker now is still in discussions upon details, said the sources, adding that it will not rule out the possibility of top management change.
Recently, Yang Yuanqing, board chairman of the Hong Kong-listed company, was reported to step down. However, Lenovo denied the story on December 25.
In November 2008, Lenovo posted a net profit of USD 23 million for the fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2008, slumping 78.1% from USD 105 million a year ago and lower than analysts' estimation of USD 91.80 million.
