The renowned US-based Time Magazine presented the 50 best inventions of the year 2008 in its November issue. One of them is the Bounce:S that was listed as “High-Tech Running Shoe”.
It has already been recognized with the “Plus X Award 2008”, Europe’s biggest technology, sport and lifestyle competition. In addition to that the Bounce:S won the German “Red Dot Design Award 2008” for innovative design, that is awarded every year by an international jury made up of well known design experts.
A technical metal spring damping and a purist mesh fabric that makes up the upper of the shoe characterize the premium running shoe. Whereas traditional shoes drain your energy with thick, dense foam, the Bounce:S suspension system - developed by Adidas - returns more of the energy for a smooth, stable ride.
In the field of sport, the cooperation between Porsche Design and Adidas is now in its fifth season with the Spring/Summer 2009 collection. Functionality, top quality technology and impressive design are characteristic of these products in the areas of Water I Snow, Running I Fitness, Driving as well as Golf and Tennis.
All Porsche Design brand products are created in the Design Studio in Zell am See, Austria. Since its foundation in 1972, the products designed there have won more than 120 national and international design prizes and awards.
