UsTrendy.com is facilitating a revolutionary process on its website allowing consumers for the first time to the have the power to determine the clothing that a fashion company produces each season. The products are submitted by the people, voted on by the people, and produced for the people - a truly democratic concept.
"At UsTrendy, we are trying to revolutionize the fashion process by allowing the most important voice to be heard - the voice of the consumer," states UsTrendy Founder Sam Sisakhti.
At the site, aspiring fashion designers can upload their designs for other users to view. Those users vote for their favorites, and UsTrendy produces the top-rated clothing. In this way, the customers decide what is produced each season.
"I originally felt the need to create UsTrendy when I saw the struggles that friends of mine - aspiring fashion designers - went through to find viable career opportunities in fashion industry, this coupled with the lack of viable outlets for fashion enthusiasts to express their voice in deciding the trends and clothing produced each season," says UsTrendy Founder Sam Sisakhti.
