This popular understanding of Edvard Munch will be challenged and overturned in this exhibition that explores the Norwegian artist popular for his work The Scream and other iconic expressions of modern anxiety and despair.
By considering Munch’s paintings, prints, and drawings to his European peers including James Ensor, Vincent van Gogh, and Claude Monet, surprising connections reveal Munch as he is.
