Award-winning graphic design firm, Octavo Designs, was acquired by Enforme Interactive, a nationally-recognized, web development firm located in Frederick, MD.
The acquisition of Octavo Designs enables Enforme Interactive to provide a full complement of marketing and graphic design services in addition to the web technologies for which the company is best known.
"For years, our clients have requested us to provide for their more comprehensive advertising needs," said Carrie Delente, president of Enforme Interactive, who co-founded the business with her husband, Eric Delente in 1997.
"Our acquisition of Octavo Designs responds to this and significantly expands the value proposition we offer clients."
Enforme Interactive is best known as the nation's leading web developer for medical associations and serves such clients as American Academy of Ophthalmology and Johns Hopkins University.
Enforme's acquisition of Octavo expands its client base to now include, National Association of School Psychologists, Maryland Public Television, Aircraft Owner and Pilots Association, National Geographic, Weinberg Center for the Arts, The Temple: A Paul Mitchell Partner School, and New York New York.
While Enforme's acquisition of Octavo is new, Delente says a strong relationship has existed between the two companies for nearly a decade. "Sue Hough, Octavo's founder, and I have worked together since we both started our firms," said Delente.
"She is a brilliant designer and shares the same values Eric and I have for quality design and superior customer service."
Hough calls the transaction mutually beneficial for both parties. "My clients will enjoy the many advantages of Enforme's sophisticated technologies," said Hough. "I've thoroughly enjoyed our partnership and look forward to the creativity and innovation our merger of services offers."
Since its founding, Octavo Designs has been the recipient of hundreds of awards and national recognitions for graphic design in the areas of corporate identity, collateral materials, print advertising, illustration, packaging design and exhibit graphics.
