In concert with the upcoming 21st annual Art Show, ADAA will host a series of lectures by renowned historian, novelist, and journalist Philipp Blom, Objects of Passion: Reflections on the History of Collections and Collectors.
Encapsulating a cultural history of collecting, the series will consist of three lectures that will trace firstly, what we collect when we collect; secondly, the driving passions of collectors; and finally, the dramatization and organization of collections since the Renaissance.
