Glaum will oversee all of the creative work across OgilvyAction's North American offices: New York, Chicago, Stamford, Conn., Atlanta and Toronto. He will be based in the firm's New York headquarters.
"Big ideas and brilliant creative work are at the heart of our company and at the center of any winning brand activation program. Today, more than ever, it's what will differentiate a brand and engage the consumer," said Rick Roth, Global CEO OgilvyAction.
"In Colin, we gain the kind of creative leadership that will give our clients and their brands real advantage."
"Colin has an amazing track record of turning shoppers into buyers and is hugely respected for his work on big brands in the activation space," said Sheila Hartnett, OgilvyAction CEO North America.
Previously, Glaum was Executive Creative Director at Rapp Collins, leading digital direct marketing efforts with such clients as Mercedes Benz, The Travel Channel and Pfizer.
Before that, at BBDO, Colin brought to life campaigns for Visa and Pepsi and as Creative Director at Young & Rubicam, he did the same for MSN and The NBA.
Glaum has expertise in programs ranging from online video games and mobile content to full-sensory experiential environments.
