Quark has released QuarkXPress 8.02 update, available immediately to existing customers for download and as a free 60-day trial.
This release improves the installation experience, adds user interface localization for five additional languages, and builds on the rock-solid performance and reliability that customers are already experiencing with QuarkXPress 8 by addressing the most important issues reported by customers.
In addition, this release adds support for the latest updates from Pantone Inc., PANTONE Goe color libraries.
“We are thrilled at the positive reception QuarkXPress 8 has received from the industry, customers, and media since its launch last year,” said Terry Welty, Quark Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing.
“We have been in close contact with our QuarkXPress 8 users, and this release addresses some of the key issues we’ve heard from them and also simplifies the process of installing the application, especially in large workgroups. In addition to the existing 12 user interface languages supported in QuarkXPress 8, we are delighted to offer native user interfaces to Danish, Norwegian, Czech, Portuguese, and Finnish speaking customers.”
QuarkXPress 8, launched last May, delivers superior design power through a new, intuitive interface developed purposefully for the creation of high-end page layout; print, Web, and designer-friendly Flash authoring tools; design-driven typography; and global publishing capabilities.
