Daniel Peacock’s acrylic paintings are a mix mash of puzzles, muzzles and fuzzy whatnots. Peacock throws in a bit of politics and a bite of nature with blue skies always returning.
Somewhere in the story, taboos get a hair cut, pets get to vote and if you are small enough, something wants to eat you.
Humans and critters of wild diversity inhabit a richly conceived dreamscape as if Fellini shared a peace pipe with Dr. Seuss.
Peacock started painting after years of avoiding the subject, inspired by some old comic book whose origin escapes him.
Currently, Peacock, a graduate of Art Center College of Design, resides amongst the birds and squirrels in South Pasadena, CA creating work for private collections and various businesses.
