Tommy Hilfiger was, once again, awarded the ‘Most Admired Premium Fashion Brand of The Year’ at the scintillating finale of Images Fashion Awards 2009 (IFA) in Mumbai.
Amongst much glitz and glamour, captains of the Indian fashion and retail industry were honored for their contribution to the business of fashion.
Says Shailesh Charturvedi, CEO, Tommy Hilfiger Apparel India, “We are extremely proud to receive this award from a distinguished body such as the Images Fashion Forum consecutively for the second year. Glad to note that the industry recognizes our team’s most sincere efforts to provide something very international to Indian consumers.”
Images Fashion Awards (IFA), instituted in the year 2000, is the highest accolade in the business of fashion. IFA felicitates the country's most admired fashion brands, companies, stores, campaigns, innovations and professionals for their outstanding achievements.
Tommy Hilfiger launched its apparel in India in April 2004 though Arvind Murjani Brands Pvt. Ltd. a joint venture between the Murjani Group and Arvind Brands Ltd and is growing with a presence of 40 stores across 12 cities in India.
