The V&A has recently acquired an extensive group of contemporary drawings by artists who work across all the fine art disciplines: painters, sculptors, printmakers, photographers and installation artists.
The exhibition ‘Contemporary Drawings,’ will feature very diverse works, ranging from the figurative, to the abstract, to the conceptual.
What connects them is the versatile medium of drawing itself, the essential foundation of all art practice.
