The Art Center College of Design kicks off its “The Big Picture” lecture series with Jonah Lehrer.
Jonah Lehrer is a writer and Editor at Large for Seed Magazineand the author of Proust Was a Neuroscientist. He has written forThe New Yorker, Nature, Wired, the Washington Post and theBoston Globe. Contributing editor at Scientific American Mind and National Public Radio's Radio Lab.
In 2009 Art Center launches "The Big Picture" lecture series, a new college-wide program that will bring leading figures in the humanities and sciences who will present key issues and debates of our time as well as their historical context.
The objective of the series is to broaden students' knowledge in fields outside their majors, to stimulate the creative process, and to enhance the intellectual climate of the college.
As a means of inspiring creativity and promoting dialogue in our community this lecture is free and open to the public.
