Screen Gems, a Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Columbia TriStar Motion Picture Group subsidiary, has promoted Pamela Kunath to Executive Vice President and General Manager of the division.
Kunath has become a central figure at Screen Gems working alongside President Clint Culpepper as a partner providing not only business affairs counsel, but strategic and tactical guidance across all of Screen Gems' activities.
In her new role Kunath will oversee all operations and administration across all areas of the division's business.
"It's a rare thing in the film business, as in life, to find someone with the combination of Pam's uncanny business acumen, people skills, intelligence, logic and integrity," said Culpepper.
"Pam has become a true partner in the growth of Screen Gems and I am grateful she will continue to be by my side."
Kunath joined Screen Gems shortly after its inception in 2001 and most recently served as Senior Vice President of Business Affairs, where she was responsible for negotiating agreements for the division's productions and acquisitions.
Prior to Screen Gems, Kunath held the title of Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs for Destination Films.
