Kent-based Consilium Group has introduced its digital T-shirt printing service that could change the face of the T-shirt printing industry and introduce some features that were never seen before.
The Group said it decided to invest in top-of-the-range digital printers to bring the new kind of service to its mainly British and European clientele.
"This allows us to print designs directly onto garments digitally," says Justin Baker, the company's Managing Director.
"The main benefits of this are no minimum order, no setup costs, unlimited amounts of colors in the print, or photographic prints to be reproduced. We print straight from the clients artwork so you could have your digitally printed t-shirts delivered the very next day."
Consilium Group UK, which has over a decade's worth of experience in the corporate and promotional clothing industry, has so far been able to produce over 10,000 garments per week via its in-house embroidery and screen printing facilities.
The new technology is touted to virtually wipe out the requisite limit to allow overnight printing to have your order within hours of receiving the artwork.
In addition, it will also eliminate the design and color limit that is common in non-digital printing.
According to its site, "Unlike screen printing which requires screens to be made up, ink colors to be mixed and large machines to be setup, Direct To Garment Printing is suitable for short runs of full color artwork on to a wide range of garments."
