Elixir Announces New Digital Edition And International Rollouts

Elixir, the magazine dubbed the “Vogue” of aesthetics for babyboomers who refuse to age, is launching its digital edition this June.

The 200-page quarterly will be published by digital publishing partner, YUDU Media, meeting the needs of readers who are increasingly making their buying decisions on the Internet and the needs of advertisers for statistical transparency and tracking.

Editor and publisher Avril O'Connor says, "Our readers are determined to fight ageing disgracefully and the recession is not going to stop them. They want news of the latest products on-demand and to be able to buy them at the click of a mouse via live links to vendor web sites. And our advertisers want more value-for-money and transparency on circulation and traffic which we will deliver through to them through the latest technology with comes with the YUDU package."

The magazine also plans to roll out new print editions in the US, Russia, continental Europe, and the markets of Australsia and Asia during 2009. And a new publisher has been appointed to take the magazine forward into these markets.

Elixir is currently running a reader promotion offering every a free introductory copy of the Summer 2009 edition.

The market in anti-aging services and products, is currently estimated at more than US$60 billion (£30 bn) worldwide and continues to grow despite the global recession.
