Creative agency Spoon+Fork (S+F) have been officially appointed to develop the online presence of the ‘Heathcliff’ brand by Heathcliff Enterprises and FitzRoy Media. This will be a collaborative effort in updating the brand and the first-ever official website for all things Heathcliff.
The website will serve as the Heathcliff brand’s introduction to the 21st century. Its design will embrace the classic and new story lines alike, making sure to keep true to fans new and old. There will be new color pallets, graphic treatments and an interactive brand experience online that still retains a retro flair for nostalgia.
By building these creative ideas collaboratively with FitzRoy Media and Peter Gallagher, the writer/illustrator and nephew of Heathcliff creator, George Gately, Spoon+Fork will keep Heathcliff’s attitude and wit that has kept the brand popular for over three decades, all while lending their signature S+F stamp of innovative design to the project.
On working with the legendary comic brand, Co-founder and Creative Director of Spoon+Fork, Chez Bryan Ong said, “Being a fan of Heathcliff since a child, I went into our first meeting with Peter and FitzRoy with excitement… and my old Heathcliff piggy bank!
