The Extreme Internet Software company has announced a new version of its popular web multimedia search and download software, ‘Extreme Picture Finder.’
The software first finds images on the web using any given search phrase and then downloads and save any files from almost any website automatically leaving out banners, pop-ups and redirects.
With ‘Extreme Picture Finder,’ beginners pick it up easily with the user-friendly interface which allows to start searching the web or start downloading files from a website with just a couple of mouse clicks. Experts will find all the options they need to limit file size and date, block unwanted addresses using regular expressions and other functions.
In this new version, web image search was dramatically improved giving users the ability to trawl five search engines simultaneously using the software’s built-in web image search. And with the ability to choose from five different search modes, it becomes very easy to locate images.
The ‘Automatic File Download’ and ‘Save’ function has also been improved. Now users have more flexibility in file name generation when files are downloaded and saved to their hard disk. This new version also allows using HTTP query string parameter to generate unique file names for saved files. It is especially useful when all necessary files are generated by a single script on the web server and there are no direct links to them from website pages.
