Speak Media Blog has taken gold at the MarCom Creative Awards which is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievements by marketing and communication professionals.
The blog launched in 2007 is written by Jennifer A. Jones and calls out good and bad PR, social media and viral marketing campaigns while highlighting new tactics and marketing tools.
Winners of the MarCom Creative include some of the top professionals working today, including media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies. Competitors are judged by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals, which consists of several thousand creative professionals.
"This is a great recognition and I am humbled to be in the same category as brand leaders like Harley Davidson, Coca-Cola and McDonald's," said Jennifer A. Jones, author of Speak Media Blog.
"I started Speak Media Blog two years ago so colleagues and I could examine how social media is changing public relations.
