Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG) has appointed Justin Low its Regional Communications Director, responsible for leading the development and execution of the media agency network’s internal and external communications programs across the Asia Pacific region.
“Growing our Asian operations is an important priority for our network, and communications is a vital function both inside our network and to the industry at large,” said Andrew Swinand, president, global Operations at SMG.
“We’re excited to have Justin’s creativity, vision and experience working to promote and elevate the SMG brand in Asia Pacific.”
Prior to joining SMG, Justin was with Omnicom Media Group (OMG) where he managed all communications initiatives undertaken by the media group in the region. During his time there, he also helped shape positive media sentiments towards the network and optimized PR mileage for OMG’s two other full service media companies, OMD and PHD.
Before OMG, Justin was at Y&R and was responsible for increasing top-of-mind recall of the agency through editorial coverage, conceptualized and executed sustained PR activities aimed at heightening the overall brand position of Y&R, as well as spearheaded internal staff-focused initiatives.
In this newly created position, Justin will also work closely with senior management in developing communications strategies and materials, as well as deliver programs that are consistent with network's global position to reinforce SMG’s brand and values in the Asian markets.
