The Champion of the Champions prize at the International Jewellery Design Excellence Award (IJDE), which debuted last night at the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, went to local designer Joey Cheung Lai Yee for “Eternity Blooming.”
The “Splendour of Jewels” was the theme of last night’s IJDE Award presentation ceremony, which took place at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. Among those attending the gala were Fred Lam, Executive Director, HKTDC; Dorian Ho, fashion designer; Stephen Chan, General Manager, TVB; and Jean M Wong, Principal, Jean M Wong School of Ballet.
The IJDE Award is organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and co-organised by the Hong Kong Jewellers' & Goldsmiths' Association, the Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturers Association, the Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers' Association and the Diamond Federation of Hong Kong, China.
