Two Academy of Art University School of Graphic Design MFA students have invited leaders in the movement for social change to share their “soft spot” for all to see.
‘WHAT THE *#&! IS SOCIAL DESIGN’ is an exhibition that explores the definition of social design and showcases creative designers who are paving the way.
A sneak preview of some of the “Softy’s” profiled in the exhibit are John Bielenberg, known for his Project M design movement; Emily Pilloton of the humanitarian product design company Project H Design; Jennifer Leonard of IDEO and co-author of Massive Change; and the School of Graphic Design’s MFA Director and founder of Compostmodern, Phil Hamlett.
