VIV Magazine Shocker: Magazine Cover Model Walks
VIV magazine, the exclusively digital luxury magazine for women, has broken through yet another barrier limiting traditional print publishers.

In its March/April issue, VIV unleashes its avant-garde and interactive approach to content design by animating its cover.

The issue features actress Melora Hardin (Jan of ‘The Office’) strutting across the cover in a blue satin mini-dress by Max & Cleo, using flash animation.

Further use of interactive elements is continued inside the magazine, creating an inviting and integrated multimedia experience throughout.

"VIV has been incorporating interactive elements since the very beginning," says Anne M. Russell, editor in chief.

"Our readers have responded very positively, which inspired us to up the ante. So in this issue we wanted to do something really special to take it to the next level. From an animated cover, to engaging fitness stories and multi-layered shopping experiences, VIV magazine provides a unique experience for every reader. We are going to keep innovating and expect each new issue to get better and better."

VIV's CEO Doug Carlson adds, "What VIV magazine is doing for the world of publishing is amazing, as it sets the standard for digital magazines of the future. Not only are we creating a phenomenal work of art with each issue, we are paving the way for many long-time print publishers to find new avenues to express themselves in an engaging, paginated digital format.”

“We are living proof that publishers can profit and grow, without jeopardizing the well-respected and addictive traditional magazine layout. Our readership base of 350,000 loves what we are doing. This is just the beginning."
