AdFest Academy Announces Guest Speakers
The AdFest Academy will have its inaugural launch this March in Pattaya at AdFest and delegates under 30 will have the rare opportunity to show their portfolios one-to-one to the jury.
The two-day AdFest event has also confirmed the speaker line-up. Day One will feature Santosh Padhi, Chief Creative Officer & Chairman/Partner at Taproot India Mumbai and Nils Anderson, Group Executive Creative Director for Greater China at Ogilvy & Mather China. Each will lecture in a half hour segment.
On Day Two, Corey Chalmers, Group Creative Director at TBWA\Whybin in Auckland and Lee Parkinson, Managing Partner at Newdialogue in Wellington will deliver their 30-minute lectures.
The Portfolio Showcase sessions will run on both days from 230-430pm
Creative Directors taking part in these portfolio sessions include: Andrew Berglund, Global Digital Executive Creative Director at Cheil Worldwide in Seoul; Dave Ferrer, Executive Creative Director at JWT Manila; Jay Benjamin, Executive Creative Director at Leo Burnett in Sydney; and Joel Clement, Regional Head of Art & Deputy Regional ECD at Saatchi & Saatchi Asia.
Only 60 positions are open for the AdFest Academy and the Portfolio Showcase, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sign-up must be done prior to AdFest since confirmed participants must bring 3 of their best works to present to the juries to the Portfolio Review.
To register for this year's AdFest Academy, participants must be registered AdFest delegates and under 30 years of age.
