Bangalore-based artist Ranjani Shettar has recently gained considerable international recognition for her sculpture.
Using both modern technologies and traditional Indian craft techniques, she creates environments that are as stunning as they are sensual.
This exhibition, the first presentation of Shettar's work on the West Coast, will include a group of sculptures to be exhibited at the opening of SFMOMA's Rooftop Garden in May, as well as a pair of site-specific installations and a group of woodcut prints.
