Unisys Corporation has appointed M. Lazane Smith Senior Vice President, Corporate Development.
In this role, Smith will have responsibility for the evaluation and potential divestiture of non-core assets, as well as for rationalizing Unisys geographic presence, as part of the company’s turnaround program.
Before joining Unisys, Smith was SVP and a member of the executive team at Gateway, Inc., where her responsibilities included human resources, worldwide customer service and support, quality, real estate, facilities and legal.
Prior to Gateway she spent 12 years at CompuCom Systems, including serving as SVP of finance and CFO. She has also held management positions at Coca-Cola Enterprises and Abbott Laboratories.
