BartonPartners Architect/Planners has announced Matthew Auchey, AIA and Bruce E. Adelsberger, AIA, recently achieved LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accreditation through the U.S. Green Building Council. LEED promotes sustainable design and development; the accreditation program recognizes professionals understanding and application of green building principles and practices.
"BartonPartners is very proud of Bruce and Matt, both for them and for the firm," said firm principal Thomas C. Barton, III AIA.
"BartonPartners has always been committed to sustainability, and we are delighted that our Bruce and Matt are both personally committed to sustainable development as well."
BartonPartners has six (6) LEED Accredited Professionals. The firm also has two (2) National Association of Home Builders' Green Building Standards Certified Green Professionals, and an EarthCraft Homes service provider.
Matt Auchey, of Philadelphia, is a Project Coordinator at BartonPartners. A registered architect in Pennsylvania, He has been active in the creation of senior and affordable housing, condos and multifamily developments, as well as commercial and mixed-use projects. He is a 2003 graduate of Temple University, with a Bachelors of Architecture.
Bruce Adelsberger has 25 years of experience in office/commercial, institutional, and community based architectural design. A registered architect in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Mr. Adelsberger received a Bachelor of Architecture (cum laude) from Syracuse University and studied in Florence, Italy. He is a member of American Institute of Architects (AIA) Philadelphia, and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
