Resurgence For Retro Home Design Lamp
PRESS RELEASE

March 2009

A home furnishings classic is enjoying something of a resurgence more than 50 years after it was first designed.

According to interior design expert David Nicholls, Verner Panton's famous Flowerpot pendant and table lamps are seeing a revival in interest from stylish home decorators.

Writing in The Telegraph, he also pointed out that the unique Flowerpot VP4 desk light has been put back into production, 'completing the family of lights'.

The Flowerpot range was first launched by one of Denmark's most influential modern furniture and interior designers in 1968.

Crafted from steel and chrome, the lamps are among the most memorable lighting designs of all time.

Immediately reminiscent and reflective of the 1960s, they are ideally suited to a retro home design and come in blue, red, turquoise, orange, yellow, black, white and stainless steel.

Verner Panton's lamps can be purchased from retro homeware specialist Iggloo, a partner of mydeco.
