March 2009
Morning Coffee, a new online service designed to deliver the most current industry statistics, trends, research and perspectives to ARF members, will be launched at Re:think 2009, The ARF 55th Annual Convention + Expo at the New York Marriott Marquis.
A collaborative effort with Netvibes, Morning Coffee addresses ARF members’ needs for authoritative and timely information that helps them make the best decisions possible for their brands and customers.
Like the popular ARF PowerSearch, this new program showcases ARF’s priority to provide self-service research tools of the highest quality on a 24/7 basis, by simplifying access to over 100 of the web’s best news feeds, research, blogs and videos on advertising, marketing, media, consumers and culture from both the U. S. as well as English-language global sources.
Among the features of the ARF’s newest knowledge solution, Morning Coffee tabs group all of that material into meaningful categories that quickly help users locate information of interest.
In addition, thanks to the Netvibes personalization platform, it delivers even more value by creating tabs for hot topics, such as ‘Advertising in a Recession,’ that are stocked with the most up-to-date knowledge on crucial issues affecting members and the overall industry, also enabling users to customize the sources and tabs to meet their individual requirements.
“We view Morning Coffee as an indispensable companion,” said Robert Barocci, ARF President and CEO, “and that’s why we’re making it freely available to all our members as well as advertisers and related companies who visit our website.”
‘The need for action-oriented knowledge is more important than ever before,” he added, “and by delivering that information on a steady basis, everyone will be exposed to the new ideas so necessary to stretch their thinking, so critical for growing brands.”
“Morning Coffee is a better way for ARF members and professionals to start their day with an industry-focused media dashboard that’s incredibly relevant and personalized for the individual,” said Freddy Mini, Netvibes CEO.
