Featuring work by 50 international artists, Second Lives: Remixing the Ordinary exhibits a range of objects and installations created from everyday items that were manufactured for other functional purposes.
Touching upon eco and sustainable interior design, the works on display include Loveseat, a sofa made by Willie Cole from pairs of used high heel shoes.
Marek Cecula has made artistic ornaments from wood-fired porcelain dinnerware, while Andy Diaz Hope's Trinity lighting solution consists of chromed chandeliers, hypodermic needles, gel caps and Swarovski crystals.
0121-1110=106062 is a seating solution by Jaehyo Lee which was formed from stainless steel nails, bolts and charred wood.
Also on display, Johnny Swing's Quarter Lounge, is a chez longue made from nickels that have been welded onto a stainless steel truss substructure.
Mad is an internationally renowned space for the display of new designs by cutting edge creators.
Currently, it is also exhibiting an installation entitled Totally Rad by Karim Rashid, showing off the most innovative examples of new radiator design.
