GREY GOOSE Vodka, the "World's Best Tasting Vodka," is proud to be the first sponsor of SI GOLFNation, a newly designed digital application powered by GOLF.com, GOLF Magazine, and Sports Illustrated. SI GOLFNation is an integrated game and social management platform connecting golfers to their golf friends in order to improve their golf experiences both on and off the course. SI GOLFNation, is a freely accessible application available for use on GOLF.com and Facebook.

In addition, the SI GOLFNation application accessible on the iPhone will be coming soon.

In line with GREY GOOSE Vodka's communication theme "On Discerning Taste" and its dedication to golf, the brand will be the preferred spirits sponsor of SI GOLFNation for the first month after launch in mid-April and will continue with a media presence on the application throughout the year.

SI GOLFNation will feature tabs such as "My Game," "19th Hole" and "My Leaderboards." The application allows users to connect with other players by using a variety of feature options such as:


  • Record detailed scores and golf statistics and post to your newsfeed

  • Upload pictures and videos to share from the course

  • Access exclusive video instruction from GOLF Magazines Top 100 Teachers to improve your game

  • Find and review courses and book tee times

  • Celebrate posting a round with your favorite cocktail - i.e. GREY GOOSE Bloody Mary

    "Our brand strategy focuses on engaging our target consumers at their passion points, and this partnership provides a natural extension to our involvement in the world of golf," commented Elisabeth Motley, Assistant Brand Manager of GREY GOOSE.

    "We recognize that our golf enthusiast consumers participate in the social media space and believe that SI GOLFNation will complement their golf lifestyle."

    The brand's other golf activities include sponsorship of Golf Channel's GREY GOOSE 19th Hole, a relationship with two-time U.S. Open winner Retief Goosen, and the GREY GOOSE Lounge, a luxury bar activated on-course at the country's top PGA Tour events.
