Gonzalo Alonso, former Director of Google for Spanish Speaking markets, and now VP of Globant, a leading technology company, has invested and acquired a part of Latin American digital agency Resultics, becoming a new company partner, and member of the board of advisors.
After leaving his position at Google, Alonso decided to invest in a digital agency. He chose to invest in Resultics due to its solid management team, profound knowledge of the region and extended client and partner list.
"Resultics is a leading digital agency in Latin America, with a strong client roster and an outstanding management team, that has led the company to expand successfully in key Latin American markets like Mexico, providing a large array of partners with top notch digital marketing services such as: SEO, Display advertising and web 2.0 marketing. Investing in Resultics was a no brainer and my active participation as a Board member will be focused on taking the Company to the next level," Alonso said.
“I´m sure that this investment and the incorporation of Gonzalo Alonso, with his vast experience in the advertising and technology arena in Latin America at Google and MSN, and his deep knowledge of the market, empowers us, and adds a solid platform that will no doubt help us in our growth and expansion. Gonzalo is a recognized professional and executive, and we are very honored to be part of his investment portfolio, as an experienced executive, and as a great human being,” said Martin Maslo, CEO of Resultics.
