Cool Blue Interactive Makes 2009 AiMA Finals

After weeks of judging, the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association (AiMA) has announced 24 finalists for the 2009 AiMA Awards. Cool Blue Interactive’s Web site for the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival has been selected as a finalist in the category ‘Most Effective Use of a Website.’ Winners will be announced April 30 at the awards presentation at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History and IMAX Theater.

The Most Effective Use of a Website award is given to the marketing organization that best achieves its goal for Web sites designed for a specific purpose. These can include newly-launched or redesigned sites, online promotions and sites constructed for rebranding initiatives. Other finalists chosen in this prestigious category include Cox Enterprises, Inc., Delta Airlines, HowStuffWorks.com, Razorfish and The Super Group.

“It is highly rewarding to receive such levels of recognition for the work that we produce at Cool Blue,” says president and founder of Cool Blue Interactive, Bo Simmons.

The AiMA Awards recognize Atlanta-based leaders in the field of interactive marketing and are dedicated to encouraging creative, innovative, and measurable interactive marketing programs by sharing industry best practices among the business community. The 2009 Awards identify Atlanta-based companies and individuals who have demonstrated thought leadership, superior execution and innovation in their work in 2008.

The Atlanta Jewish Film Festival site was also recently chosen as one of three finalists in the Web & Interactive Marketing category for the Atlanta Marketer of the Year (AMY) Awards held by the Atlanta Chapter of the American Marketing Association.
