Salon09 is an annual open submission exhibition that allows creative practitioners at all stages of their career the opportunity to present their work to an audience of their peers, and invited curators and collectors.
In 2009 we are introducing a Selectors’ Prize of £1000, and the John Jones Award for Contemporary Painting, which will consist of 12 months support towards professional development, a monetary prize of £500 and a £200 bursary for John Jones services.
Work submitted can be: Painting, Printmaking, Photography, Collage, Drawing, Sculpture, and Installation (including sound).
Since 2007 the Salon has received over 1800 visitors, and exhibited 146 artists.
