AdWhirl’s Ad Performance A Hit For iPhone Developers
PRESS RELEASE

May 2009

AdWhirl's (formerly AdRollo) Ad Platform Scores Big for iPhone Developers, Serving over 200 Million Monthly Ads While Giving Developers Choice.

Only one month after officially launching, AdWhirl (formerly AdRollo) has announced that they are serving over 200 million monthly advertisements worldwide on iPhone and iPod Touch applications in the Apple App Store.

AdWhirl's free service allows iPhone developers to launch their applications while having full control over their ad content and keeping the flexibility of switching among ad networks. Developers have found ad revenues increase anywhere from 30% to 3x after integrating with AdWhirl's ad platform–an effect of the diversity of ads being served as well as AdWhirl's optimization and ad rollover technology.

Furthermore, AdWhirl allows developers to cross-promote their paid applications and boost sales. As of today, developers can serve ads from AdMob, Quattro Wireless, Videoegg, Jumptap, and Mobclix, with anticipation of Millenial Media and Google's Adsense ads coming soon.

"We're very excited about AdWhirl's ad platform and what it means for the mobile advertising industry. AdWhirl will help Stitcher to maximize 3rd party mobile ad revenue by providing us with the ability to choose dynamically between multiple ad campaign offerings." said Noah Shanok, founder and CEO of Stitcher, a free mobile service for listening to on-demand radio. Stitcher is currently available on the iPhones, iPod Touch, and Blackberry.

AdWhirl has seen strong advertising revenues across popular iPhone applications.

"Since integrating AdWhirl's ad platform into some of our more popular applications, including 5800+ Drink and Cocktail Recipes and I Say Free, we've seen dramatic increases in revenue–one of our free apps has been generating over $1500 daily," said Ryan Chang, founder and CEO of WebWorks Inc.
