Knack4 Design, an award-winning advertising agency specialized in branding, walked away with 2 awards at the May 2009 BOLI Awards event: The GOLD award in the Direct Mail Series category; and the SILVER award for the Sales Promotion category.
The coveted Best On Long Island award, for which the show is named, is now in its 36th year, and attracts some 700 marketers to its annual affair.
Started by the Long Island Advertising Club, the nationally recognized advertising and marketing awards BOLI program attracts participation from agencies, corporate marketers and suppliers, thousands of companies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations across the region.
BOLI statuettes presently reside in 31 states and five foreign countries.
Knack created a 6-postcard series as well as a successful sales promotion campaign for the Bethpage Federal Credit Union (BFCU).
"We worked hard with Bethpage (Federal Credit Union) to come up with messaging, corporate ID, and copy that would speak to their current client base while simultaneously reaching out to new consumers," said an elated Carol Andersen, president of Knack.
"Our concepts hit the right note with BFCU - and with their clients - and winning the Gold and Silver awards is icing on the cake."
No stranger to the prestigious BOLI Awards, knack has consistently won awards in the years it has participated.
This year, winning the GOLD and SILVER awards was not only exciting for knack, but validation that hard work really does pay off.
