Lori Carrabba, EVP, Director of Operations, Ogilvy Healthworld New York, has been slated to receive the 2009 Power of Communications Award in the Advertising category from the Printing Industries Alliance.
The Printing Industry Alliance (PIA) promotes the value of graphic communications by increasing the profitability of member graphic communications firms in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Each year PIA hosts its Franklin Event to honor industry professionals.
Other award recipients are: Cathie Black, president of Hearts Magazines; Patrick Pagani, VP and COO, Ramsey Press; Celie Baussan, SVP, Operations and Technology, SourceMedia; and Stephen R. Whittaker, VP Quality Management and Sustainability Initiatives, Monroe Litho.
The 2009 Franklin Event awards reception will be held on September 30 in New York.
