Fujitsu has announced the availability of the Docomo Style Series F-08A, which it manufactures, from NTT Docomo in Japan. This will be the first of mobile phones built with an IPX8 designation that allows underwater photography when submerged in 1.5 meters of water.
This new series is rounded at the corners with sides sloped, making it easy to handle with one hand. It is also rich in functionality with features such as the ‘Eye Emphasis & Skin Tone Balance’ photography mode, which complements portraits done with its 5.2-megapixel camera. There even is an ‘Exercise Monitor’ that measures levels of physical activity to accurately compute calories burned.
The series also includes a special model designed in collaboration with nail artist Eriko Kurosaki – the ‘Beauty Pink erikonail‘ special model.
