The Bassat Ogilvy Group, one of Spain’s largest communications groups, has won five awards at the Ibero-American Advertising Festival El Sol in San Sebastian.
Bassat Ogilvy, the Group's advertising agency, received four awards. In the TV and Film category, the ‘Churchill’ campaign, created for TV3's telethon program La Marató, took Gold. This campaign recently won another Gold award, the only one for its category in Spain, at the Festival Iberoamericano de la Publicidad (FIAP) advertising festival.
‘Siempre recibes mucho más de lo que das’ (‘You always get much more than what you give‘) was the slogan used to promote this year's La Marató, which each year encourages millions of Catalans to make donations in aid of various causes and illnesses. This was the main point of a story told in the first person by the character of Winston Churchill.
The television campaign Lógica, which promotes the Copa Santander Libertadores football competition, won a Bronze award. In the Newspapers and Magazines category, the graphical advertising campaign Campos Elíseos designed for Ford, won Silver, while Bota, created for Médicos del Mundo (MDM; Doctors of the World), won Bronze.
