Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has appointed Marianne Admardatine, Managing Director for Ogilvy PR Indonesia and Pulse Communications, its sister company, both offering consultancy in consumer, corporate, healthcare and IT industries.
Part of the Ogilvy Group of companies that offer comprehensive international networks and support as well as a full 360 approach or integrated marketing, both Ogilvy PR and Pulse Communications cater to a diverse client base. Although part of the same family, the two firms function separately to allow them to handle conflicting clients.
Admardatine brings 17 years of industry experience across diverse categories, joining Ogilvy PR in 2007 to set up Pulse Communications. This appointment represents Ogilvy & Mather‘s growing confidence in the Indonesian economy, which so far seems to be impervious to issues of unemployment, falling property values and budget deficits.
"Indonesia will prove to be a giant, vibrant market for us, and one that calls for an energetic, entrepreneurial and creative leader. We know we have found that leader in Marianne Admardatine," said Christopher Graves, president & CEO, Asia Pacific, Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide
Prior to starting Pulse Communications, Admardatine was with the Indo Pacific Edelman Group and BBDO Komunika in Indonesia focusing on financial issues and crisis, corporate and consumer clients.
