Dots, a national women's retailer, has announced the launch of Dots Web Radio, an online radio station featuring current and chart topping music available to its on-line customers.
Through collaboration with Redmond, WA-based PlayNetwork, a leader in providing integrated media experiences for businesses, Dots.com is now poised to deliver streaming music through its fashion web site.
Dots customers are passionate about fashion and music is a critical voice influencing fashion trends. PlayNetwork helped Dots with its musical branding initiative by enabling web customers to experience the energy of a Dots Store online.
"We brought our in-store music fashion party to the web to enhance our customer's online experience," said Rick Bunka, Dots president.
"Since 2007, PlayNetwork has been a vital partner in developing our in-store experience, catering our music mixes to what she likes. We wanted to offer our digital customers a playlist that she can listen live, 24-7 to the hottest pop and dance mixes that are topping today's music charts."

Dots' Web Radio allows daily listeners to activate the customized media stream and keep the music playing long after their shopping is done.

The fashion retailer's web site was recently launched in December 2008 and extends Dots' in-store ‘Fashion Party’ experience to the digital world. The site demonstrates the company's fashion expertise in the retail marketplace.
