David P. Murphy has been named President of Sales for the Novus Media Network.

Murphy joins Novus from the Denver Newspaper Agency, where he had been General Manager and Chief Revenue Officer since 2008.
Previously, Murphy was with the Tribune Company as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Los Angeles Times Media Group.
The appointment, effective immediately, includes responsibility for developing Novus' business development efforts. As part of this charge, Murphy will be responsible for growing print and digital offerings while increasing client value. He also will be tasked with building partnerships with media as well as digital and print sales channels.
Novus, a print and local digital specialist, is a top ten U.S. media agency as ranked by Advertising Age Magazine. Novus is part of Omnicom Media Group, the media division of Omnicom Group Inc.
